The actress has been spotted looking a little down in the dumps in recent days in the wake of her ex-husband Jesse James planing to release a tell-all-book on their marriage.
But as she left her New York apartment this morning, the 46-year-old Oscar-winning actress had managed to raise a smile.

As for how Zellweger is doing since her split from Cooper, a source close to the actress tells PEOPLE, "She's really good. She's going out with friends and she's moving on."

The source adds that the actress is ready to focus again on her career. "She hasn't been working because she wanted to really put time and energy into the relationship," says the source, "and now she's going back to work."

Sandra Bullock gives $1 million to Tsunami relief efforts in Japan

SANDRA Bullock is one generous lady!

The Oscar-winning Blind Side star sent a $1 million donation to the American Red Cross this week to help with earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan, the organization said Thursday.

It is the largest celebrity donation to the Red Cross to be announced since the disaster struck last Friday, although the charity may have gotten large contributions that were kept confidential at the donors’ request, CNN reports.

Sandra — who split from husband Jesse James last year when she discovered just days after winning the Best Actress Oscar that he had cheated on her — recently insisted that divorce has made her a “better person”.

“It’s made me a better person, I’m more patient and accommodating,” she said.

“I really appreciate where I am.”
